OK, the problem I have is a bit odd. Basically I cant connect to my router through a CAT6 cable plugged directly into my motherboard. I've been using wireless on my TP link WD4800 wireless card for so long I never noticed this before.

Of course before coming here I've scoured the internet looking for a fix, but to no avail. So unless you guys have an idea on what I can do I'm gonna have to claim my warranty.

Here are the specs:
OS: Windows 7 x64 (yes its legit)
Mobo: Asrock Z77 Extreme 6
BIOS: Latest (2.70)
Ethernet controller: Broadcom Netlink Gigabit Adaptor 16b1
Ethernet driver: 15.4.0.9
HDD: Seagate barracuda 2TB

Here are the things I've tried to fix the issue:
-Installed new drivers (one off the mobo website, one off broadcom and re-install the origional one)
- Driver 14.8.4.1 and 15.1.0.1 were the others
-Tried 3 different cables (1 CAT6 and 2 CAT5's)
-Flashed my BIOS (2.60 and 2.70)
-Disabled my wireless
-Reset the modem
-Installed the latest INF driver ver:9.3.0.1019 (from another thread on Toms)
-Turned off the power saving feature on my Ethernet (Nothing changed)
-Cleared the CMOS twice
-Ran "netsh int ip reset" in the CMD at least 3 times with all cables
-Ran "netsh int ip reset all" in the CMD (on admin of course)
-Reset Winsock with "netsh winsock reset" maybe twice
-Changed the Speed&Duplex to 10mb full, 100mb full and auto (none worked)
-Tried clean installing the drivers in safe mode
-Tried 3 different Ethernet ports on the router
-Tried setting a static IP for the Ethernet MAC address
-Countless restarts

Just to top it off I got some BSOD's as well:

Other notes:
-Frequent hanging at the Windows logo (normally works within 3 tries)
-modifying the Ethernet in any way (driver or settings) causes the computer to say, when I shut down "Shutting down" forever. So I am forced to hard reset it
-In the adapter settings in the network and sharing center I can disable my Ethernet with not much difficulty (most of the time) but if I decide to re-enable it, I will be stuck in a constant "Enabling" Loop.
-Wireless still works fine regardless
-Cables were tested with 2 other computers, so its not bad cables

Pretty much I have run out of Ideas, I've had issues with drivers before this but they have just needed updating. The only thing I haven't done is clean Re-install Windows 7, but most of the Google'ing I did said that didn't fix the issue.

TL: DR Do I need a new mobo or is my HDD dead
