Compatibility of corsair vengence 16gb (2xgb)

I am building my own pc, and have found conflicting information to the compability of the corsair vengence platinum (CMD16GX3M2A1600C9) and the intel i7 3770k. I have read about 1.5v issues, to MHz issues to this memory only being compatible with x79 chipsets. I was just seeking help on this.

I have a asus maximus v formula mobo

That is a 1.5v dual channel kit which should have no problems running on a Z77 motherboard. You may want to check the QVL of the motherboard you're interested in to see if the kit is listed or Corsair's QML for the ram to see if the motherboard is listed
