Greetings community,

I would like to humbly ask for your help. My current PC build is restarting when I play Dota 2. This is random, and I can't predict when it will happen again. I can assure that it does happen at least 3 times a day.

My current PC Spec is
Windows 8 64bit
Motherboard: AsRock Z77 Extreme4
CPU: Intel i5-3570k
GPU: Sapphire HD 7970 3GB GDDR5 OC with Boost
RAM: G.Skill Sniper 9GB (2x4) 1600
PSU: CoolerMaster Extreme2 525watts
Case: AeroCool Mechatron Black Edition
CPU Cooler: Hyper 212 Evo

The info I provided might be insufficient, so please do tell me if there's anything you want me to test.

I tried:
Memtest for a day(no errors)
Disc Check
Using Win 7 64b
Changing Ram slot
I used to play Witcher 2 and Far Cry 3 in max settings, no problem.

MORE INFO: My personal log since January 16 2013. Everything I did/tried to fix the issue.

I agree. Replace your power supply with something more decent. Since at idle your GPU might take alittle amount of power but as soon as you start that game it will draw twice as much, power your PSU cant provide.

@Rick_Criswell and @KashPC

Thank you for the replies, what do you gentlemen think is the wise PSU choice? I don't have that much money, so please suggest something budget wise.

Again, thank you!
