I already have internal tv tuner card and was using that , now the cable tv operator asked us to buy Set top box and so we bought ZEB-L2012 and don't know how to connect it to cpu , not to lcd monitor , to cpu and tv should be in the control of OS

please help me connecting ZEB-L2012 to cpu.

If I understand this correctly, you cannot control this unit from the PC. Your PC outputs via D-Sub 15 VGA to this unit. The output from this unit then goes to your PC's Monitor. PIP means Picture in Picture. I'm guessing that you have a small TV window open on your screen while you continue to work/browse the web (or vice versa).

Thank you very much @Wolfshadw ,

D-Sub 15 VGA is the cable which usually goes from lcd to cpu ,both end will be male like the below link right?

http://www.frontx.com/pro/c219.html

so you mean , D-Sub 15 VGA , one end to cpu and other end to ZEB-L2012 VGA output , then
VGA in to lcd right ?

Diagrammatic rep :

cpu< (D-Sub 15 VGA) VGA out>ZEB-L2012<VGA in (cable) >LCD ?

Correct me if i am wrong .

Thank you @Wolf sends,

Before trying your technique , ZEB-L2012 device put into trouble , like now power is not coming , i think it is the worst product in the earth. so 22 $ is waste . ok Wolf sends leave that , please help me in giving a good solution ,i mean good device which will help me in connecting 3 pin from set top box into cpu so that i can control TV using cpu , i mean inside the Operating system , like pinnacle tv tuner , BTW we actually have pinnacle TV tuner but that doesn't take 3 pin option or it doesn't have 3 pin port for taking set top box input ... Hope you will give me the best solution .. Thanks in advance

The best solution would be some sort of cablecard solution like the SiliconDust HDHomeRun Prime, but I'm not sure how (or if) something like this would work in your location. If you cable company is requiring the use of a set top box, then this would be the only solution. If they do not provide cablecards, then there isn't any way to watch and record television on your PC that I know of.
