Hello all,

I'm currently running a 500w Antec Earthwatts with the following:

i5-2500k
Asus p8p67-le mobo
Gigabyte ATI 6850
2x2gb + 1x4gb Ram
Samsung Spinpoint 1tb HDD
Intel 520 180gb SSD
Asus DVD-RW Drive

I was looking to upgrade my 6850 and was wondering what the best video card I can get into my system without replacing my PSU would be. From the little research I've done it seems that in theory a 7870 or a 7950 may work but I would like some more input before I pull the trigger. I would also greatly appreciate brand suggestions too for the video card.

Thanks!

It probably isn't the best for your money. If you can find it, get the Sapphire 7870 Tahiti LE.

You should be absolutely fine with a 7870 or a 7950. Just note that you won't have as much overclocking headroom in your PC's later life because of capacitor aging and whatnot.
