I was planning on getting the i7-3770k with 8 or 16gb ram with a good single video card probably nvidia and try out for the first time liquid cooling. Now i know that its a little overkill for gaming but i thought it would be quicker for sha-1 and other tasks but im finding more processor cores may be better. The amd jaguar is coming out and i can't find a lot of benchmarks for it and was wondering if that is the wrong choice for a rig that is going to be used eventually for 4k display when they come down in price or over several monitors(waiting a while for that one) playing video games such as cod, skyrim hashing, moderate video editing and encodingand web browsing normally upgrade about every three years whole system. any advise? untill the last two years always been amd fan

Jaguar is a low power (meant for mobile platforms) CPU, it will be MUCH slower in CPU performance than anything as high end as a 3770K.
If the usage you have for this build will benefit from more cores then seriously consider an AMD FX 8350, its cheaper than an 3770K but performs just as well in games and a little better in apps that can benefit from more cores.

HOWEVER, I tend to Intel at this stage as they provide better thermals and lower power consumption at the same price point.
That being said, wait for Haswell 4770K. Its around the corner.

the 3770k is my upper limit tho may wait till the 4770k comes out before buying the onboard video idk if it is important ie getting a good video card or if running it with amd card will make the difference though i am much more partial to Nvidia

For gaming onboard graphics just does not cut it. You need a discreet card.
Running an AMD card actually works BETTER on an INtel platform, strangly enough.

The 4770K will come in at a very similar price as the 3770K. So that is irrelevant.
AT LEAST wait for the 4570K(I5).
