Hello, I have an ASUS M5A97 mobo, updated to the lastest firmware, v. 1605, and I am having issues with sleep and shutdown.
Turning the computer to sleep mode results in a proper sleep about 85% of the time. The other times, my monitors shutoff, yet the computer keeps running, and I can't wake it back up without forcing the computer off. This has always been a problem from the beginning of this computer, which I custom built from scratch. Also, this sometimes happens when I shutdown, that the computer won't finish the shutdown sequence.
Here are the specs if you need more info:
FX-8320 - No Overclocking/stock fan
ASUS m5a97
Patriot Intel Extreme Master, Limited Ed 8GB memory
Diamond Radeon HD 7850 2GB Video Card
Rosewill Green 630W 80 PLUS Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply
Intel 80gb SSD
Mushkin Chronos 240GB SSD
Some 50$ case with 6 fans and plenty of airflow.
If anyone has any suggestions to fix this issues, please let me know! Thanks so much!
