Long-term stability of GPU temps

I was curious as to the long-term stability of my GPU when running at certain temps. Thought i'd take a look online to see the consensus but have actually ended up more confused and concerned than when I started, just seems to be so much conflicting info.

I have a Sapphire HD 7950 - not Oc'd. Using HWinfo (although there seems to be 3 GPU readings here?) i'm getting around 35c idle and almost 70c under load > which is playing Crysis 3 on high settings for around 30 minutes. Ambient temp is about 22c.

Does the temp under load sound overly high or unsustainable for long periods of gaming time? Any knowledge is welcome, I've been a bit overly obsessive over temperatures since i build my first PC a couple of weeks back. Thanks.

That is a VERY good card, I own 2 of them.

But it sounds as if you do not have any issues, heat feels hot to us may not be damaging at all. If you REALLY wanna be sure, try to improve airflow.

What case do you have with what kind of cooling setup? CPU cooler?
Intake fans? Exhaust fans?
Case?

I'm loving the card, it's been doing a great job so far. I've got a bitfenix shinobi (window case), with a side fan blowing in just below the middle (under the GPU), one intake at the bottom front & a fan blowing out at the back top. I also have a cooler master hyper 212 on my cpu (amd 8350) facing the same way as the exhaust. I was pretty sure that was the best set-up and everything seems stable enough, just wanted some feedback on that temperature.. I'm planning on getting metro last light soon and don't want to kill the thing :) Thanks for the reassurance.
