Boot up weirdness

Just built a new system and everything seems nice and stable but I have noticed 2 things.

My systems boots up fairly quickly but after everything else has finished loading it seems to take forever before the network icon indicates ready and I can access the net. It takes nearly 2 min. Just before it indicates ready I here the HD being active. Almost as if it is waiting for a long time before loading the network drivers or something.

The other thing is that I occasionaly get bizzare warnings about CPU temps being -0 C. I would think -0 would be awesome:)

Specs:

Intel Core i7-3930K
Asus Sabertooth X79
32GB G. Skill Trident X series DDR3 1866
Asus GTX 680 4GB
2) WD VelociRaptor 1TB HDD
Creative Recon3D Fatal1ty
Corsair Hydro series H100i cooler
Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit

Make sure the mb bios has been patched. If the issue happens with the mis readings it may be power supply issue. Where not holding the voltage at post. If your mb has the intel network chipset like the asus saber tooth.
It the intel software that the issue. That was packaged with the network driver. Remove the unneeded intel junk and the port will post faster.
