Hey guys,

So two days ago I bought a brand new ASUS Z77 Sabertooth motherboard, and it arrived today.

I took it home, took out my old one, plugged in everything and booted it up.

All the fans spin, including the motherboard fans, the CPU, the case fans and the GPU, the motherboard LED's go on. Everything works, except I get "HDMI -- NO SIGNAL" from both the GPU and the onboard graphics.

Any suggestions?

Specs (until today):
CPU: Intel i7-3770K
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H
GPU: PowerColor HD7870 MYST Edition
RAM: 12GB (2x4, 2x2) DDR3-1333MHz
PSU: 750W

No signal indicates nothing is reaching the display actually

Personally I would re install the OS with a Motherboard swap. However I do know that Reviewers regularly swap out motherboards etc for testing from bench top rigs and they do have to install chip set drivers. I know this for a fact as I have been personally told by a couple such people in a discussion concerning best testing practice.

Guys lets think about this for a sec. If he's not getting any signal when he first turns on the system then motherboard drivers and video card drivers don't mean squat at this point. You should always see some sort of POST screen from the BIOS; if you don't see anything then there's something else going on. Check power connectors to the card, check for loose video connections at both ends of the HDMI, reseat the card, try removing all but 1 mem stick, disconnect the HD power cable this will cause the computer to halt on boot, try removing the vid card and only using the cpu video with the previous steps taken. Are you getting any beep codes other than the 1 short beep?

If you read the posts on the thread you will see that the first thing I asked was "Does the PC boot to a post page, Bios etc ?"

Until we get a reply for that question we are just shooting the breeze between our selves.

i have only just registered but i am getting this as well, literally no signal right from the start, tried the cmos jumper and battery, tried all my OS`s (linux, win7 and 8.1) and tried leaving only one ram in, i get no beeps and no signal right from the start, not even a bios flash screen thing.

i took out all of my ram and got beeps, as you would expect, but with the ram in (tried each card in all slots) nothing, i have contacted asus, the p8hz77 -v le board is still under warranty but does anyone have any ideas?

i will try another psu tomorrow
