Since formatting my pc, my mouse seem's to be freezing up and getting progressively worse.

The low down:
I'm using an Apple Magic Mouse on W7 with the lifted bootcamp driver that allows things like scrolling and small gestures to work on Windows.

I'm connecting via a small usb bluetooth dongle and it's never been a problem before. I can't think of anything I have done differently, however I am noticing a few changes..

1) Dongle is flashing nonstop
2) I used to have to un-plug the dongle and restart the mouse upon Windows logon to get it to be detected.. now I don't need to.

A little more information, when the mouse stops and locks up; if I shake the mouse and click like a mad man then it 're-connects/defrosts'. My old usb HP mouse has non of these problems that I know of so far.. The only thing I've changed since formatting is my motherboard (Changed out my Asus P8H77-V for a P8Z77-V).

Any help/response will be mostly appreciated.

Thank you.

Change or full recharge you mouse battery.
This is the common problem.

That's not a half bad idea! I'll give it a try and report back after an hour or so's usage.

Thanks,

Well.. it did seem to fix it for a little bit. But it's back to it's usual.

I forgot to add on my first post that I also hear beep when the mouse 'comes back to life'. I have also recently noticed the mouse turning into a stack of short horizontal lines - here's a mock up of it.. http://uploadir.com/u/ke8c1xzv.png after studying it, I believe it to be the top right of my mouse cut up and repeated a few times.

Any further ideas? It's getting extremely annoying now, seen as I have to click and shake the mouse to get it to come back to life; and unfortunately that normally resolves in me dragging windows all over the place.

Thank you,

I've had the mouse for over 10 months, plus it was bought second hand.. but the thing is it worked perfectly fine before I formatted the pc?

Could it be a driver issue?
