M14x R2 Blu Ray Drive

Hey guys, so I just got the new alienware m14x r2 and it came with a blu ray drive and power DVD 9.6. However it plays DVDs but when I put a blu ray in it, it recognizes it as a blank disc or just doesn't recognize it being there at all. Help will help thank you so much.

Have you updated the Power DVD software - http://www.cyberlink.com/support/powerdvd-ultra/patches_en_US.html - check under the PowerDVD 9 section.
"Support Notice: As the development phase of CyberLink PowerDVD 9 Ultra retail version has now ended, there will be no further Blu-ray Disc compatibility updates for this version. Any Blu-ray Disc titles released after 2011 June may not be compatible with CyberLink PowerDVD 9 Ultra retail version."
You may need to update to a newer version of PowerDVD for it to be compatible with newer Blu-ray discs.

yea i did update it but from what your saying it looks like im either gonna have to upgrade or find a different solution for it.
