Have I reached my limit

Any lower voltage and it just seems to blue screen. Its always fine on prime 95 though, but it will just randomly blue screen on the desktop. And I've got an xspc water cooling loop. I barely had to change my voltage at all to get to 4.6 but any higher than that it just seems to need alot.

to go over 4.6ghz i had to tweak some other bits not just rely on cpu voltage

llc and cpu current capability and vrm fixed frequency mode i think

at least you have very good cooling on there

4.6ghz to 5ghz isnt a huge performance increase anyway

but its nice to see the magic 5ghz

my 2600k will go over 5ghz but the voltage increase and extra heat just doesnt justify the extra 200mhz

Well I was just aiming for 5ghz, just to see how well the cooling does! I might have a bit of a play around with llc, maybe its that causing the idle blue screens? Thanks for the help!

That's what I would like some advice on. I'm not sure why I seem to need alot of voltage.

Every chip is different, every chip will need a different voltage to run at the same frequency--even from the same model of CPU.
