Xfx Ati HD 7950 vs Evga GTX 660 Superclocked

I got a friend that says that he's GTX 660 SC is limited, to go on 60 FPS on nearly all games. Except games like minecraft..
He also says that the Xfx Ati HD 7950 (my GPU) and the GTX 660 SC is nearly the same GPU.
But ive seen that the Xfx Ati HD 7950 had been campared with GTX 660 ti and the GTX 670.

I dont know so much about pc's.....

What is the best GPU th Xfx Ati HD 7950 or the Evga GTX 660 SC???

the 7950. the 660 will experience performance problems the higher the resolution and game settings. ( not all games, just the more demanding ones ). there' no comparison.

its one of my friends just because he only runs League of legends at 60 FPS but its kind a wierd cause he also running BF3 on 60 fps?!

It means that if the monitor is 60Hz the card will produce no more than 60fps. it's a setting in the video cards control panel or in the games control panel. helps reduce graphics tearing.

The 7950 is much better than a 660. It is somewhere between a 660ti and a 670.

I purchased the GTX 660 SC from EVGA and I couldn't be happier. I have never had a 7950, so I have nothing to compare to. As far as frame rates on a single card in BF3 multiplayer I was getting ~75 FPS with all settings maxed out, in SLI with the same cards I get ~130-140 with all settings maxed. Not sure if that's what you were looking for, but I hope it helped.

the video card isn't the only thing that matters. if you run a 775 or 965 it's not worth getting a 7950.
