A bunch of used hardware came to me, so i tried to put it together as a working machine.
MoBo: PM800-M2 (V1.0)
CPU: Intel Celeron D 325 (Prescott) 2.53G/256K
HDD: a 100% working drive that has a 100% working win xp installed on.

No other devices were connected (except for keyboard, monitor, mouse), i only tried if it starts up. And it does not. BSoD on windows startup, for only a 1/6 of a second.

I've figured out that the MoBo DOES support cpu - since BIOS ver 1.2e.

I've tried to flash bios via usb drive, AND it loads but keep saying the new bios is not signed ( i've downloaded the latest from MoBo website).

What have i done wrong? What should i do?

When you say "a 100% working drive that has a 100% working win xp installed on" does that mean you built the machine and simply plugged in that HDD?

If so, you'd need to format and install windows again. You cant simply put a drive in a machine that already has an OS on it.

With the bios file expand it to a flash rom stick. Most newer mb have built in bios update program built in. FoR the Windows xp crash it do to wrong mb drivers installed and loading from the old xp install. You have to use f8 safe mode and remove all of the drivers and hardware under system device manager and then have the right mb drivers on a USB stick.

Was the HDD/XP install from a different motherboard/system?

Typically changing between chipset manufacturs can lead to windows bluescreening on boot, especially if different SATA/EIDE drivers are needed.
