Computer Restarts Unexpectedly While Browsing the Internet

I recently had a "Missing Operating System" problem, took it to the repair guy, got it fixed, brought the rig home, did some stuff, the tower was humming away, I opened FireFox, checked my e-mail, and BOOM! Black screen, then my boot sequence started. What? This isn't the first time this has happened. What is going on, and how can I fix it?

This is a list of specs from DXDIAG:
Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition (5.1, Build 2600)
System Manufacturer: INTEL_
System Model: D865GLC_
BIOS: BIOS Date: 04/21/04 15:58:22 Ver: 08.00.10

Memory: 1518MB RAM
Page File: 1025MB used, 912MB available
DirectX Version: DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)

  1. Check that all the power cables are seated. Run a virus scan to make sure the system is clean. Call the repair shop and say they fixed one issue and caused another issue. If they replaced your hard drive did they clone the data off the old damage drive??? Could be system needs chipset and network drivers updated.

All power cables are seated... just finished whole computer scan by AVG... the hard drive wasn't damaged, it was a virus that caused the missing OS. System needing chipset? What's that? I do link to think I have some knowledge above the average person on computers, but I'm pretty new to hardware problems. Please explain some more (and thanks for the quick reply by the way).
