I'd like to by a A85X mainboard with A8-5600k and upgrade the CPU to the 3rd generation APU later for better performance. But it seems uncertain what the socket of new APU will be. The best result is the FM2 mainboard will support the new APU only by upgrading BIOS.
What will the socket of the coming 3rd generation APU be?

According to an earlier statement by AMD, the A75 chipset will allow for OCing and other features, the thing that makes A85X special is the fact taht it support Xfire AND will be compatible with upcoming APU releases. If they go back on that claim they will have all hell to pay.
So yeah, pretty sure the FM2 socket will be used further on APUs, even without a BIOS flash.
