Hi everyone, my cpu reaches 71 degrees and my gpu reaches 80 when under heavy load (far cry 3). My cpu is an i5-3570k and the gpu is an asus gtx670. Both have stock coolers and aren't overcocked and run at default fan speeds. My case is an msi interceptor stealth series. I'd like to get some fans to help with the airflow.
Does it matter about the rpm for the fans?
I don't know the rpm of the pre installed fans, so if i get 2 fans that are say 1500rpm, will be no effect on the air pressure?
I was thinking of getting 1 fan on the bottom and another at the top.
As for the fans this is what i was thinking of getting.

Gelid wings 12 @ $10 each

A deepcool fan @ $6 each

enermax tb silence @ $7 each

bitfenix spectre pro @ $9 each

If i have enough i'll get additional fans. I'd like to spend under $30 though.

Those temperatures really aren't that bad considering stock cooler and heavy load. I would be comfortable with the CPU below 80 and the GPU below 95. If you really want to lower the cpu temp I agree with the previous poster on the hyper212.

But if you really want to install case fans heres what I would do. The fan on the front can be replaced with a 180mm fan. They are tougher to find but with size it would move a ton of air, it should be intake. On the top you can install a 180mm fan, it should be output. This alone should be more than enough to keep the air inside your case moving nicely. If you find your GPU temps are still low installing fans on the side panel as intake will blow fresh air directly at your gpu's intake, I recommend the 140mm fans instead of the 130mm. At this point you are in overkill territory. Anything more would only be adding noise to your system and not functionality

I see CC doesn't have any 180mm fans in stock. I highly recommend ordering 180mm wherever possible. The larger the fan the more air it moves without having to speed up. Essentially the rule is the larger the fan the quieter your pc
