I was just wondering that if I was to buy a second identical gpu for my system, could I overclock it to the same voltages e.g that I have with my previous one or would I have to use completely new core clock, memory clock and voltage settings.
Having a second AMD card would be in CF mode not SLI. SLI is nVidia related. You can CF any HD 7970 with other from different manufacturer with different core & memory clocks but it's better to have the identical cards crossfired.

Thanks for the reply and I know that, it was just a misprint on my part but youre sort of missing the point on what I'm asking XD

The cards will crossfire no matter core or memory clocks are, and yes you can adjust the different card to match the other one.
