Hi all,

I'm now after some fans to complete my build.

As you know the c70 can hold 10 fans 5 120m & 5 120/140m

I want a good airflow as my pc is OC to 4.6ghz

Will 7 of these do http://bit.ly/11fA2LF

2 on top ( exhaust )
2 on side ( intake )
1 at the bottom ( intake )

Also these for the 120m : http://bit.ly/130bSlq

1 at the exhaust for CPU
2 in the HD cage ( intake )
2 front on the case ( intake )

I am 2 of these to control the system:

The fans don't have to be noctua but I need to leave the pc on over night every night in my bedroom. So I need super quite fan which noctua are known for.

Will I have good air flow?

The C70 comes with two front intake fans and one rear exhaust fan IIRC. Add two more front intake for push/pull. Done!

You should know that more fans and more air does not cool your computer faster. It can cause bad airflow if you have too much turbulence.

No. Hot air naturally rises. You can add one fan if you want to help it move up faster, but it's not necessary. With those four fans on push/pull and only one rear exhaust, you will get more air going into the case than air leaving the case. So it's safe to say that air won't be hanging around on place for too long.

Hi guys once again thank you :)

So if I am correct I need to keep air in the case a little bit, not straight in and straight out.

The c70 comes standard with 1 fan in the normal exhaust & 2 fans in the HD cage.

If I get 2 more on the front of the case & 1 at the top to help... That will be plent to cope with an OC pc?

Also please advise on these at the DB is amazing + the CFM:

If you could explain where you would put your fans would be helpful.. But please say if the fans would go at the front or on HD cage.

Also that link, are the fans good?

Wrong. You want a constant stream of air going through the case, not keeping air inside the case. What you want is for air to push the hot air away. Air, unlike water, is a poor heat conductor so it is inefficient at cooling your system. What it can do is provide a good stream of current going through the case to move the heat away from components so they don't bottle up somewhere and make other components hotter. It's like during the summer time. A fan blowing warm air at you is still better than having a humid cloud on your shoulder which just makes you hotter. A good CPU Cooler and GPU cooler would help a lot.

Once again great help and J E D thanks for the link it helped!

I used a samgsung pro SSD so I can do the same!

So I will use the fans on my HD cage where your intake ones are.

So 1 more on the top for exhaust and 1 side one JED?

Where did you put your side one, the top or the bottom of the panel?

The Noctua NF-F12 will make great case fans as front intake and rear exhaust. If you want, a single top exhaust with a Noctua NF-F12 is not bad.

If you want to add a side panel fan, I suggest the Silverstone AP-121. It is quiet and has very little to no dead air space. This helps channel air to exactly where you want it, which is directly at your graphics card.
