Can my gtx 660 card handle this resolution with games at high settings, what are good temps for this card

It has a lot more to do with than just the GPU. Could you post the rest of your PC specs so we can make a better determination of what your system will be able to handle?

vast majority of games yes. it won't max crysis3 or tomb raider. basically you're fine for now, with upcoming games over the next year or two, you'll occasionally need to tone down the details a little

In that case you should be fine, like vmem said though, latest and maybe some of the upcoming games might need a little tweaking, mostly with AA is my guess. As far as temps go, for a reference cooler you're probably looking at around 35C idle and around 70C load, and with a custom cooler a lot of companies do (depending on the company) you can probably expect around the same for idle and as low as mid 50s under load. As long as you aren't going as high as 80-90C for extended periods of time you should be ok. Under 80 should be the goal
