I'm looking to buy a pair of new video cards and putting them in SLI (current rig will be at the bottom) i was thinking of getting 2 gtx 660 SuperOverclocked (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...) i currently have 2 GTX 8800 and if i remember right they were power hogs back i their day. Also i was wondering if there would be an issue with having mulitple power supplies for 1 computer for example 1 doing the video CPU and MOBO the other doing HD CD and everything else.

CPU: AMD FX-8350 (Not OC yet)
MOBO: ASRock 990FX Extreme3
PSU: CORSAIR Builder Series CX600 600W (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...)

Note if there are better options as far as going ATI instead of Nvidia feel free to say your opinion even if its wrong ;)

Your chosen PSU may or may not work, due to GTX660's in SLI are recommended to have a 600 watt supply for the system. If you are going to be oc'ing in the future or if you just want to be safe, you may want to go with a slightly larger supply. Having one large PSU is preferable to trying to use 2 different PSU's in the same set-up IMHO (would avoid "race" conditions developing).
