I only plan to do gaming, I have a expensive rig because I plan to play crysis 3 on very high with all eye candy ( I will sli and add more monitors in the future)

What do you mean about needing software for blu-ray?

you could go with an i5 and get the same results.

blu ray is not natively supported by windows 7, and the codec is hard to make for free. You have to buy software that can play your blu ray discs.

I strongly advise that you wait a week for the release of the haswell processors (4770k, 4670k) if you are overclocking. The leaks and rumors tell that it can oc much better than ivy bridge.

NEVER EVER EVER pay the ridiculous premiums for the Dominator Platinum. It's nothing but a stupid marketing gimmick and they don't offer anything that regular RAM does, except for a really fancy heat sink. I don't care if you're paying $500 for a PC, or $5,000 for one - it's a gigantic waste of money and you don't get anything in return. Two 780s is complete overkill for a single 1080P monitor setup, and you don't need an i7 or 16GB of RAM.

Should I get the arctic cooling paste or use the noctura dh-14 paste?

The Noctua compound is far better than that Arctic Silver crap.

+1 except gpu and switch to dvd from op's original blu ray plans. they may have loads of blu ray discs or intend to build a collection. Also, that RAM is way overpriced. you could go with 2x8GB of many other brands and get better results

this is another option: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/ZGrv

1 ssd, dual or triple HDD raid 0 or 5, dual 7970 Ghz, blu-ray combo writing drive + secondary dvd drive if you ever need to run 2 dvds or a blu ray and dvd at the same time, & BD read/write software. You could change the secondary dvd drive to another blu ray drive if you want, but I personally would never really make use of it.

Switched to samsung 840 pro since OCZ hasn't had the best reliability in the past.

I kept the case and psu the same because they look good.

Micro stuttering is unavoidable no matter if you're using SLI or Crossfire. Once you start adding multiple GPUs you need to adjust your drivers accordingly, and that's what causes the instability. NVIDIA GPUs are less prone to it, but it happens on any multiple GPU combo.
