This actually wasn't suppose to be a new build. I thought I needed a new GPU for gaming but I also need a cpu and psu. Then I had to have a fan for the cpu then I had to get a new mobo and ram. Then I had to get a brand new case since some parts didn't fit!

Ok here they are

Optical drive
http://www.amazon.com/Asus-24xDVD-RW-Serial-Internal-DR...

GPU
Radeon 7850 1 gb sapphire
CPU
Phenom ii x4 965 black edition

Fan for CPU
Cooler Master hyper 212 Plus

Mobo (I might change it if I find something better in same price range)

http://www.amazon.com/ASRock-Motherboard-960GM-U3S3-FX/...
OS
Windows 7 home premium 64 bit

Going to use same hard drive

8GB 1600 of Ram from Kingston

PC Case

(Update) Also a corsair cx 600 watt psu

Wow, we have almost the exact same build.

Except you have a bit more ram.

Yes, your build is considered a 'good build'. It should be able to handle most graphically intensive games at moderately high settings with a playable framerate.

The best resolutions for that sort of build would be 1600x900, 1680x1050, and 1920x1080. Usual gaming resolutions. Seeing as 1280x720 would shame the build, but a 2560x1440 would make it scream for mercy.
