Transfering data to SSD

Solution
Your Veriton M420 support only SATA 2 Ports that with 3 Gb/s transferred rate and you have 4 internal ports, So get SATA cable and connect the SSD to one of these ports from inside and start transfer Or you can use USB 2.0 ports that you have.

It appears you have (2) 5 1/4" bay covers. Have you used both already? There are lots of ways to add SSD's since they are small. There are 5 1/4" Bay converters that can mount 1 to 4 SSD in a single bay. If you are going to completely remove the original HD, you can get a 3.5" tray that mounts like the original HD, but has a inner tray to attach the SSD. Although, I would recommend you leave the old drive in for data.
Copying from your current HD to a new SSD is easy with cloning software. It will duplicate everything exactly the way it is now, including the hidden boot partition. Make sure the SSD is bigger than all your data, by at least 20%. SDD's don't really like to be full on an OS partition. IF you get another one later for data only, you can fill it up no problem.

The far I know about your PC is support SATA 2 port and that limit of 3 Gb/s and the SSD 530 MB/s, Let's do some Math: 1 MB = 0.0078125 Gb, 530 MB = 4.14063 Gb, 3 Gb - 4.14063 Gb = -1.14063 Gb LOST transfer rate SATA 2 port support 3Gb = 384 MB = 298 MB actual speed so batter to get something less speed because it will give you the same performance but you will same some money like http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227938 , Max Sequential Read: up to 285MB/s, Max Sequential Write: up to 275MB/s and Up to 50,000 IOPS for $56 OR use the high qulity SSD if you have plan in future to make a new PC so you can use it later on :) like my favorite SSD t'll now http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820147193
