There is a posting for a 2010 iMac 21.5, no custom specs, also there is an HP Touchsmart 320-1030, no upgraded parts either. Which would be better for Minecraft and some First Person shooters? and, No, I will not build my own computer, or save up a bit more money.
This iMac all-in-one or this HP touchsmart?

They're craigslist postings, this is the one for the iMac (http://prescott.craigslist.org/sys/3813212906.html and these are the specs of it http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/imac/specs/imac-core-i3-3.06-21-inch-aluminum-mid-2010-specs.html) and the the one for the HP touchsmart was taken down, but here are the specs (http://www.amazon.com/HP-TouchSmart-320-1030-Desktop-Computer/dp/B005M1AA02). The mac either has a bad HDD or corrupted OSX. I have an extra HDD(and the knowledge to install it) and a copy of Mountain Lion, so that shouldn't matter.

Since the iMac is not working and there is no guarantee that a HDD swap will fix it, I would go with the HP TouchSmart 320-1030 (just what my personal choice would be). Of course for the asking price, fixing may be an option even if more than an HDD is needed.

If an easy fix, then (for most general computing uses) I would opt for the iMac knowing it isn't going be the best gaming rig out there - Is there any reason you are not considering a standard desktop type unit (usually best for gaming)
