plz help me with this decision ....

laptop 1 : gt650m is a good graphic card with core i5@2.6ghz

laptop 2: hd7670 is sumwhere inferior to gt 650m(niether great nor the worst) but with corei7@2.4ghz with turbo boost upto 3.4ghz ...

all the other specs are similar btwn the two laptops ...

my usage will be centered to games , web browsing and softwares like catia and autocad

kindly suggest which one should i buy ...

thank you !!
:)

I would suggest to take the i7 with nVIdia card (not on your list)
i7 is better for Catia and Autocad.
and, if I am not mistaken, Autocad and Catia gain advantage from nVidias Cuda cores.

if you can only afford (price) to choose between those 2, I would recommend the one with GT650 due to its CUDA cores.

Note:
- Watch out also for the RAM, get at least 8GB if you can. You will need it for Catia and Autocad.
- I would recommend getting a powerful PC for Catia and Autocad rather than getting a laptop e.g. i7 3770k or E3-1230V2 with at least GTX660 and 16GB RAM.

Autocad supports both openCL and CUDA acceleration. The 6 series are TERRIBLE at both... (a 5 series would outperform a 6 series on CUDA and opencl...) So he might as well as go with the AMD GPU...
