needa certain xbox cable

I need a cable for my xbox but I don't know what the type of cable is called exactly
the connectors needed are usually coloured red white and yellow
my play station 2 uses one my old xbox-vga cable had them but my new one only has the audio ones (yellow and white I think)
what is the name of this connection and where can I find such a cable

That adapter allows you to connect to a home theater system. The red and white RCA connections carry your audio channels and the video is passed via the optical fiber connection.

The yellow cable you refer to is the video cable.

What kind of make/model of display/HDTV are you trying to connect to?

its not a HDTV its quite an old one
the only other connectors are SCART and and something that the arial goes in (sort of circular with a smaller circular bit in the middle the bit that goes in it has a pin that goes in the inner circular bit - or was it the other way around...)

If I understand correctly, the cable you have should work (as long as it converts the digital signal passed by the HDMI port to the analog video connectors). With the that cable, you connect the yellow connector to the video in and the paired red and white connectors to the audio-in ports on the TV. The other connectors are simply not used.
