Black screen on Windows 7 install

I built this custom very cheap system and I just wanted to install Windows and after the files are copied, and the prelim login is over and it wants to start the GUI install screen it just goes to black... I could access the BIOS and the G-card is detected and all the components on the m-bord... Why does`nt the install want to begin???

dunno, need more info, like all the "custom very cheap system" specs, and are you using a licensed copy of windows you purchased?

Are you connected to your motherboard's video adapter? (Onboard VGA, DVI or HDMI) or to your GFX card? If it's a new install it could be that since your GFX hasn't had it's drivers installed yet, it's not yet usable, happened many times on new systems i've built. Could be a quick check to just run with the onboard GFX first (in some occasions you actually have to disconnect the GFX card to use the onboard graphics).

Not a licensed copy of Windows but I`m using it on my main system so it should work... Biostar H61, G55 SB cpu, 4gb 1333 memory, GT430 2gb, 450w Aopen psu... Temporary usb rom to run the windows disk...
