Warning, possible wall of text, those afflicted with "Wall of Text syndrome" and those with heart problems, avoid this post.
So, this might not be a graphics card issue but I'm leaning towards it since these sort of issues are mostly caused by the gpu.

EDIT: I am aware this can be a driver problem, specifically with the ati/amd drivers but I need to be certain.

My specs:

CPU: AMD Phenom II x4 810
GPU: ASUS Radeon 7770 HD 1GB GDDR5
RAM: Corsair XMS2 DDR2 4GB (2x2GB)
PSU: Corsair VX 550W
Motherboad: Sapphire PC-AM2RX780
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Storage Device: 1x SSD Corsair Force GT 120 GB and 1x Western Digital 7200RPM 1TB Drive

If i've missed something pelase let me know ...

Now to the problems im having. Ever since i bought this card (which was a few months ago) i've been having problems in certain games. I'll list the most troublesome ones:

APB Reloaded : The game sometimes freezes for several seconds and then it resumes on its own. Every time this happens i get a notification in the system tray saying "display driver stopped responding but has successfully recovered" .

World of Tanks : Similar issue only this time the game freezes for a few seconds and then minimizes and I cant restore it anymore, only way to turn it off is via the task manager. This time its harder to see the system tray since my comp wont respond anymore while this is happening but I once managed to get the game minimized before the notification dissapeared and its same as with the above game, same thing.

Warframe : I start up the game and when i begin to play, usually within the first 2 minutes the game freezes with repeating sound and my monitor loses signal as if it wasnt connected to the video card. Also, the computer is unresponsive when this happens and I must restart it.

Also, i occasionally get BSODs, i do not know if its the video card or not that causes this problem. Happens mostly but not always when gaming.

If something were going wrong in my computer i would expect the same results in other games and utilities such as 3dMark and FurMark but no, I can play the following games without a single issue :

Fallout 3 New Vegas
League of Legends
Eve Online
Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes
X3 Terran Conflict
Firefall
XCOM Enemy Unknown
and a whole lot more

At some point I thought that maybe the games im having issues are more GPU intensive than the others so I went and did a stress test on my GPU with 3dMark and FurMark and it went flawlessly. The tests went fine with an average of 23 FPS with no freezing, lagging, crashes, nothing. I monitored my card voltage, clock speeds and all that and its operating normally, no wierd values or anything like that.

I also thought I had a faulty PSU or that it doesnt gives enough power to my gpu or something but if that were the case i should have seen other signs and problems in more games and in those stress tests but i didnt.

At this point I tried everything, i did a memtest on my memory, no errors there, i've checked my SSD with a tool i cant recall its name anymore but it also went fine.
I then stess tested my CPU and used other tools to check it and that went fine aswell.

I am at a loss here, I've exausted every idea i could think of at this point.

Any help would be appreciated.

Everything is up to date, bios, audio, catalyst, windows, everything. That was the first thing I did when i first had these issues. I've been struggling with this for a couple of months.

Anyway, Catalyst is at 13.4

Nope, everything is on defaults. Besides, i prefer stability and average performance over high performance and instability.

Oh and something i left out, these issues are completly random. Some days they happen every few minutes and some days i can play without a problem the whole day and some days it happens once or twice, completly random.

For example, i've been play for a few hours Warframe and i have no issues but just this morning I couldnt play not even for 1 minute. Same goes for World of Tanks. 2 days ago I tried to play but couldnt, the freezing kept happening the whole day. Yestarday however i've play a whole day at that game and it worked flawlessly ...

And i haven't updated, installed or removed anything at all during these days.

Yep, games are fully patched (those im having problems are online game so they patch automatically)

Yes, was one of the first things i did, check my temps, they stay well within the normal range. Never gone over 55 C on any of those games (i didnt monitor ALL the time but from the times i did, the temp stayed low enough)

Changing the graphics settings had no effect whatsoever.

Yep, directx is updated

Common thread ... well they are all multiplayer games (thats all i could think of)
I've had no issue whatsoever on any of the Single Player games i play (except a couple of times a while back on XCOM Enemy Unknown but i've had no issues ever since)

I have a habbit of turning off all i dont need. Usually, besides my game I can have either Teamspeak 3 or Raidcall active. Thats about it. Not talking about the system tray which usually contains the normal catalyst and audio card software and my mouse software (Razer Imperator control panel) and sometimes fraps to keep an eye on my fps but i dont have it all the time, world of tanks for example has an integrated fps monitor so i never have fraps on when playing that game.

Sometimes I have my browser open or vlc player or winamp ... not much else.
