i recently installed my os on my ssd and get everything up and running and when i went to put stuuf on my hard drive it doesnt show up. when i go into my bios it shows it bein there and reads it but when i go back to see if i have it, it doesnt show up. It says drive C which is my 120 gb ssd for os but there is no other drive or anything. If anyone can help explain to me how to find it or explain whats goin on it would b much help as much ssd has only 50gb remaining so i would like to move that stuff to my hard drive.

Solution
Not much to go on here. Here's my assumptions (not explained in your post)

1. there is an HDD attached to mobo
2. HDD is connected to mobo via Sata cable (has power)
3. hdd is working

Possible solutions to my assumptions:

1. format hdd.
if the HDD is not formatted it will not show up
** DO NOT FORMAT ** if the HDD has data on it. (no way for me to know exactly buddy) Post format there will be no data on your HDD.
2. if you've moved the HDD from 1 computer to another
-look in your bios (F2 when starting up computer to enter bios) and ensure the HDD slot on your MOBO is 'on'.

Could go on - but i'll await more info.

Its a brand new hard drive has nothing on it. like i said it shows up in bios and its in ahci and the bios tells me exactly what sata port its in but i cant find it when i go to my computer. so i can try to format it but how do i go back and do that?

I'm at my work computer so I can't give you an exact step by step. I had this same problem in December when i built my 2nd computer. All I had to do was format the HDD (it was new and not formatted). I can't recall exacty the steps, but please note.: **DO NOT FORMAT you SDD (C drive). Double check it's the d, e ... when you format. Once formatted it showed up just find. Still working.
