I'm planning to make a new budget gaming pc. I saw AMD had better performance at low budget.

So this is what I have deciced:
HERE IS MY WISHLIST: http://amzn.com/w/IOVE5X6Q4M85

CPU: AMD FX 6300
GPU: Visiontek Radeon HD 7850 2GB GDDR5
Mobo: Gigabyte GA-970A-D3
RAM: Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4)
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB
PSU: Corsair 600CX
ODD: Samsung SH-224DB/IDDS DVD Burner optical drive
Cab: Cooler Master Elite 310 (OR) Thermaltake V3 Red-Black AMD Gaming edition
Monitor: Viewsonic VX2370SMH-LED 23 inch IPS LED monitor

Q1. How is this configuration?
Q2. How is the monitor? Is it worth the price?
Q3. Will this configuration be future proof for at least 3 years?
Q4. Can it run games like Battlefield 3, NFS Most Wanted 2, Black Ops 2, GTA 4, Mafia 2, Crysis 3 on maximum settings in 1920 x 1080 resolution?
Q5. This rig is costing me about 740$ on amazon and here in INDIA, it costs me like 900$. But if I buy it from amazon and send it to my uncle's place in the states, can I reduce the cost? I hope there is no extra charges for amazon in the states. Right?

PS: Please rate this rig out of 100. :) Thanks to all!

It's a pretty good build, but you're not going to be able to max Crysis 3, and probably only play Battlefield 3 on high. The 7850 isn't good enough for that. I'd look into maybe getting a different PSU, Corsair's CX series are not the best. They're good if that's what you can get, but a different Corsair series such as the TX series would be good, or a Seasonic unit.

Q1. How is this configuration?

-Looks good

Q2. How is the monitor? Is it worth the price?

-Looks pretty good.

Q3. Will this configuration be future proof for at least 3 years?

-Probably could last you the next three years, however as time goes by you will aging system will require you to adjust your settings to meet the demands of the current games.

Q4. Can it run games like Battlefield 3, NFS Most Wanted 2, Black Ops 2, GTA 4, Mafia 2, Crysis 3 on maximum settings in 1920 x 1080 resolution?

-BF3, high, NFS, max, Black Ops 2, max, GTA 4, max, Crysis 3, high. You need a supercomputer to max out Crysis 3, lol

Q5. This rig is costing me about 740$ on amazon and here in INDIA, it costs me like 900$. But if I buy it from amazon and send it to my uncle's place in the states, can I reduce the cost? I hope there is no extra charges for amazon in the states. Right?

-How are you getting it from your Uncles to India?

I never had a problem with a CX series PSU, but if you can afford a TX series PSU then get one. I think the CX series PSUs are the best you can get for the money

My uncle stays in the US and visits India once a year. So, by that time he visits, I can tell him to buy all that and bring it with him. So that there is no problem of all those taxes and duties of import and I can save like, 100 bucks for that. Really, import duties are getting higher and higher in India.

Is is great for programming, gaming, little bit of after fx video editing, animation in Flash etc....?
Is AMD good for programming? Will there be any change in performance in windows if I use AMD?

I wouldn't get a GTX 660, for the same price you can get a Sapphire Radeon HD 7870 XT (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202024&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=10446076&PID=3938566&SID=). One problem you might run into is the weight of the computer for your Uncle to bring over, it might cost you quite a bit of money to get it on the plane.

If you go to this link (http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/358998-31-worldwide-online-computer-parts-stores) you can find stores that are based in India for PC parts, that might be a better option.

PCIe 3.0 right now does nothing over 2.0, even the best graphics card there is can't max out a PCIe 2.0, and cards with PCIe 3.0 work in 2.0. How much are you spending on the 660?

my motherboard only says crossfirex supported. so should i go with ati... as in future, if i'd want to upgrade, i can only use an HD 78xx GPU for crossfire.... and with GTX I cant use SLI as there nothing of that sort mentioned in the motherboard.. (GA-970A-DS3).. SO, still should I go for Nvidia?

You shouldn't get nVidia anyway, you get the same performance for cheaper with ATI.
