I need a new gaming pc, and I'm currently waiting for the Haswell CPUs and z87 motherboards and also the mid-range GTX 700 series cards. May be I"ll buy the ivy-bridge/z77/gtx-660 etc after all, depending on prices within the next month. However, I think current cabinets will be fine for those upcoming hardware as well, and I think I know what I want. My eyes are on the newly released Cooler Master N series - particularly the N500, which seems to satisfy my requirements. However, I would like to be sure before shelling out any money. My previous choice was the Centurion 6 or the Thermaltake S31. I recently read a rather negative review of the Thermaltake S21, which lead me to give up on TT. Also the Centurion 6 does not come with enough rails to fill up the HDD/SSD bays which is a shame. So my eyes are kind of fixed on the N500 for now. A review would be very handy. If anybody has access to one, please provide as much information about the case - whether ALL the drive bays- odd/ssd/hdd have tool-less design, supplied accesories, any drawbacks etc.

Thanks in advance.

Wow, what a shitty website. 1 reply received after 1 whole year. I have long moved on to a much better place - techpowerup.com. You"ll get more answers there in a day than what you"ll get here in a decade at this rate.

For the record, my build is still incomplete, but in working condition. I settled for the CM 690III Transparent side panel. It's ok for a 240mm rad on top (or front, if you want) in either push or pull but not push+pull. My Swiftech H220 can ONLY be used in pull (i.e, fans on roof). I have the Asus Maximus 6 Hero and a 4670K@4.4GHz with 16GB Corsair 1866MHz DC RAM. The 8-pin cpu power connector on the board prevents an extra set of fans for push. The cabinet works, looks good too, but albeit "tight". You MUST have a modular psu for any manageability of cables.

@ KuyaArnold, There are a LOT of newer/better cabinets available now at various price points. Don't get fooled by external appearances. What cabinet would be suitable for you depends on what components you plan to use in your build and your budget of course.
