Sorry for making yet another thread about this but I'm really worried about this since I'm ordering soon.

System: Gygabite 7970 OC. Intel i5-3570k.

Which is better and is it worth spending the extra $20?

Given that neither of the links work, I'd say buy whichever is cheaper. Seasonic makes all of XFX's PSU in case you didn't know.

I'd get the cheapest one from all four of those. They are all very good PSU. The gold has higher power efficiency rating than a bronze, but you will only save an average of $2-$3 a month between the two if you are running at 50% load for 24 hours a day. So it'll take you about 10 months to repay off difference between the $90 and $120 PSU that you listed. Of course, that's an impractical case because your computer is usually idling. So it'll take even longer to repay it off.

A high end system deserves a high end power supply. There is more to it than efficiency. There is also voltage regulation and ripple and noise. Now all 4 of those are great power supplies. The XFX and the M12 II are based on the same platform ( Seasonic makes all XFX power supplies ). The G series is a step up and the X series is the best of the bunch. I would go with the G or the X myself. Both are also modular and that is a huge bonus.
