Hey Tom's hardware!
So not long ago, I decided to start streaming some of the games I play, as I find it very entertaining watch others, so why not try it for myself?
After trying it out, I found out it was very laggy, which is really wierd, when my internet connection is supposed to be 40/40 or 30/30. When I then went to the connectionspeed tester from my provider, it showed 35/5, and I was like.. What the hell? I'm supposed to have atleast 25 more in upload, no?
So I went to check if it was the same as my laptop, and suprisingly enough, my laptop had no problem going 30/20+ on the same network. Both with/without cable.
- So how come my desktop not reaching 20+, when my laptop does? (I'm using cable from my router to my desktop, as I tried on my desktop)
Another thing: My router is downstairs, so I had to drag a cable outside of my house window, which wasn't long enough, so I extended it with another cable with a cable extender (Link below).
