My current Love Machine is a microsoft windows 8 6.2.9200 intel(R) core(TM) i5-3330 cpu @ 3.00ghz with a total of 16 GB ram my graphics card is a intel graphics family card something like 2000 or something like that anyway i want to play skyrim on good detail and that is not possible at the moment can anyone suggest a decent replacement or an alternative. im not a hundred percent sure what the PSU is but i do know when i bought the pc they said it was going to be a problem i just didn't think it would affect this much. i guess i should try a new power source 750wt should be enough hopefully but would you guys recommend i get the gtx 750 as a replacement or try something else?

This upgrade depends on the wattage of your PSU?, Could you please tell me the wattage of your PSU?

We need more specs. A gfx card that will play modern games at 1080p with smooth frame rates and high settings requires a good quality power supply of sufficient wattage and fairly high +12V amperage rating. What is the make/model of your PSU? And a price range would be nice.

there should be more information on there. such as a 12V rail and how many amps it can provide.

His PSU wattage should be reasonably High, I mean he has got to support a 3330 quad core right, I guess we'll find out.

Quite possibly. But not necessarily so. After all, the i5-3330 is only a 77W processor.

no.... CPUs don't use much power at all... you can have a high end quad/Hexacore and a low end GPU and power it with a 300w PSU...
