So I have a Samsung RV511 laptop and confirmed that the original HDD is shot. I purchased a new HDD to replace it but my my windows will not boot up or is too slow to even work with.
If Windows 7 does boot up after about 30 minutes, I then have to wait about the same amount of time to open any programs, my computer, etc etc.
I wanted to see if what other options I have to clone the HDD if I cannot do it on the original laptop?
I have the USB enclosure...would it be possible to do this on a desktop? or will I run into the same issues with Windows not being able to load?
