How much will the gtx 790 cost

The "90"s usually are dual GPU models and they normally don't appear until a few months after all the current series models are released. And they are normally the highest priced model in the series. Now that the Titian is here that makes us wonder if there will be a 790 at all. How could you fit two titans on one card they are massive. Plus the power demands and heat issues. It will be interest to be sure but if there is a 790 I think it will be a long time before it shows up.

An arm and a leg. But seriously, the GTX 790 will only be made if it's necessary to maintain bragging rights. So if the AMD 8000 or 9000 series comes out and totally dominates the Nvidia GTX Titan or GTX 780, then we might see a GTX 790. So basically, no, they won't ever make one.

to be honest i believe nvidia must have two GK110 on a PCB at their lab. something like that was not impossible. i read somewhere that nvidia did once lend their prototype card to game developer to help them optimized their game on nvidia hardware. but the card never go public because it did not passed some test or something like that. btw in this case nvidia i think nvidia might put '790' on standby if amd true 7990 does posses a threat to them. but upon seeing the review of amd reference 7990 and the asking price it seems nvidia might not need to release their 790. anyway anything can change. lets see if amd can bring miracle when they come out with their promised improved driver that should coming in this june or july

I hate to say it but a 790 could happen, there are already a lot of dual chip compute cards in workstations and super computers NVIDIA Tesla K10 Dual GPU 's so there very well could be some dual gpus based on the 110 but the cost may hold them back, the tesla k10 is around $5000 or more ofcourse that is for the drivers and firmware but even still who wants to pay 1300 for a gpu..... someone awesome I suppose
