HD5970 poor performance in general
Hello everyone, im experiencing poor performance with my actual Sapphire HD5970 2GB and i dont know why.
Games from 2011-2012 and 2013 runs terrible, framerates are big, and the fps will never stay at 60 solid.
This issue its happening since Dicember 2012-January 2013, and i dont know what started.
My config.
Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Core I7 920 stock
Sapphire HD5970 running latest AMD catalyst driver(13.5b3)
6GBDDR3 RAM
XFX 750W BE
WD Caviar Black 1 TB

What i have done for now:
-Clean the entire rig, no dust at all, temps are normal
-Reinstall and update windows to date
-Tried every AMD driver from 11.10 to the new ones
Bios settings are normal as always.
The entire system runs like a charm, games load really fast, but when gameplaying, it terrible, i cant stand solid 60fps in any game.

Main affected Games : Battlefield 3, MOHW, AC3, Dota2, CS:Go, Bioshock 1, GTAIV,Sniper Ghost Warrior 2...
Battlefield bad company 2 its the only one that reaches 60fps with everything at low, but this is not the case for the others.
It´s like my ingame performance its being affected directly towards my GPU, because as i have mention, the PC runs really quick at Windows and other stuffs like Autocad etc.

Please advise me what to do? Shall i go for a new graphics card? Does the HD5970 cant stand those titles? It really weird if so.

Thanks!!
Edit: Im really tired of seeing all over the internet this benchs,http://tpucdn.com/reviews/AMD/HD_795...es/perfrel.gif showing my card like top-high end GPU when i having lower performance than using an integrate.

Maybe something is being throttled? Download something like Afterburner and use the on-screen display to see what your GPU usage and frequencies are. But before that, you can download FurMark and test it with that. It will show the frequencies and temps inside the program if I remember correctly.

Yes i have Afterburner, all i can say it´s that my GPU cores at Bioshock,Battlefield3 and GTAIV shows 99% each .
The rest of the games this percent fluctuates between 50-7% each core
I forgot to add that i have tried a clean boot, and my PC is malware free, registry clean.
I can´t think where is the mess, but it´s like from the software side.

Thanks for replying!

Download FurMark: http://www.ozone3d.net/benchmarks/fur/
Run it in fullscreen, and look at what the frequencies are.
