two psu's on one mane bord

I was trying to find out if I could hook two psu's to one mother board? in theory if I take the syncing wire and splice it in to the other syncing wire it should tern both of the psu's on with the case switch. the reason that I wont to do this is because I have a micro board that has a different board connector but the psu is only a 100 w it works fine in the case it came in but I put in a full size case and added another HD and need to add some moor fans so I wont to add a second PSU to take the lode off of the small one

More about psu mane bord
  1. I am so confused. If you're putting it in a big case, why not buy just buy a bigger PSU and use it instead? Seriously, 100W?
  2. because it has a special mother board connecter that a normal PSU wont fit and I'm brock as hell and cant afford to bye one is that a good enough reason I think it is
  3. What is the motherboard? In what way is the motherboard connector special?

it is a HP with a micro board it's like 6 x 6 running an AMD 64x2 pros. the plug is a lot smaller than any thing that I have or have came across. It just has the mane plug on the board it don't have the extra 4 prong plug that nearly all the boards that I'm use to have so I'm assuming that what the for prong plug powers is made in with the mane plug. I think it is a 20 pen plug but it is narrower and shorter then most

  35. Oh man that is some flooding right there. I guess the forum lagged big time. Do you know the name of the motherboard or if you didn't build it, then the name of the entire build? There are PSUs with a (20+4)-pin motherboard power connector.
