Is there a way to get around the 4GB cap of FAT32?

Hey everyone. I'm figuring out what I need for my first build, and I'm going to be dual booting Mountain Lion and Windows 7. I was going to get 2 2TB HDDs, one for storage and one for backup, but then I remembered the 4GB cap. Is there a way to get around that, or will have to get more drives and have them formatted for their respective OS?

But I want to be able to access the data on both the Mac side and Windows side, if I format it for NTFS, the Mac side wont recognize it.

Is there something I can do to have it formatted for the Mac and still have Windows read it? I'll be using the Mac side significantly more.

There is in fact, a free app on the appstore to read NTFS files.

As k1114 stated, mac's can already read NTFS, they just can't write to it.
