I just bought some more memory(2x4GB sticks) to help out my gaming rig.
Is it ok to mix it in with my old 2 sticks of 2GB each for a total of 12 or just use the 2 sticks of 4GB? They are different speeds. It seems to be working ok so far, but is it something I should be doing? Would just the 2 sticks of 4GB run faster?

I figured out after I bought the 1600 that my MB will only supoort up to 1333, so I guess it has just all clocked down to that speed.
