You'd need an amplifier of some sort for most speakers otherwise they may be battery operated.
The green audio jack is i=usually the speaker out although in some Gigabyte brands, the blue one has, on occasion, been the audio out.
You need to check the Audio dialog utility to source the actual jack for audio out.
