CPU Fan bootup error

Hello everyone.

I am having troubles with my new CPU cooler.
I am using an AMD CPU one http://

It runs fine but when I boot up i get error saying there is an error with the CPU FAN... and i get the choice to press F1 to continue (which I do) and it works fine.. I have opened the case and see that its spinning (speedfan indicates a bit more than 1000 rpm and temp betweeen 30-40 depending what im doing).

I have installed it correctly and put in in the CPU_FAN with the cable.
Is it something to do with the Bios? since its a new hardware i wonder if i should update the bios in order for the computer to sense it correctly?

- I thought it was just attach and plug in and it would work (unless the fan was broken to begin with)

What can i do, or what am i doing wrong?

Thank you.

the fan connector and the motherboard header have the same number of pins/wires? Also, On the Arctic Cooler site you linked to, click on the "Support" tab and read the FAQ- My fan speed won't read out ( which can be found here http://www.arctic.ac/en/support/support/detail/question...[backpid]=77&cHash=ba92d13613d7339e4cb396c9bb986614
