I found an offer for an Asus Geforce GTX 650 1GB for £40! It's a great deal I know and I am very lucky to have found it but will it fit my motherboard?

Here are some pictures of my motherboard: http://flic.kr/ps/2t4aLu

Thanks!

Hi

I believe the motherboard is a mzn68-l? (reading upside down)

1 x PCI-express x 16 slot

http://www.asus.com/Graphics_Cards/GTX650_TI1GD5/#overv...

the question is will it fit in your case ?

dimensions 8.39 " x 4.72 " x 1.4 " Inch

and does your power supply have enough 12V power and a suitable PCI-E connector ?

power spec says up to 150W 1 additional 6 pin PCIe power required

what processor do you have at the moment is it powerful enough ?

is there enough ventilation - air flow in your case will this graphics card require an extra cooling fan for case

By the way it's the Asus GTX 650 that I'm looking at, not the GTX 650 Ti :)

And I have put a picture of my power supply now on that link. My power supply is 300W

Hi

You did not answer the question as to whether there is a PCI-E 6 pin connector on your 300W power supply
I expect not .
A molex to 4pin PCI-E adapter may work but not a molex to 6 pin PCI-E adapter

also again what CPU ?

The 650 GTX uses a lot less power than the 650 GTX TI version but the minimum recommended PSU is 400W

You may be able to boot up and run Windows with a 300 W PSU but as soon as you play a game which uses the power of that graphics card the PSU will fail possibly damaging other components

see this for pictures of various psu connectors

This is the only Asus 650 which do not requires power supply upgrade http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-Nvidia-GeForce-Graphics-Ex...

Better specs are here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Quote:
System Requirements
Up to 75W Power Requirement

And this Asus doesn't have 6 pin power supply connector.

Other model like this Asus 650 requires power supply upgrade http://www.amazon.co.uk/Asus-GeForce-DirectCU-Express-D...

As before for better specs http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E168...

Quote:
System Requirements: Up to 150W Power Requirement
Power Connector: 6 Pin

So which one you talking about?
