upgrade 32 bit to 64 bit windows 7

Hi

I believe you will need to backup all data
during install go to advanced and format C: destroying all data on C: before changing from 32 bit to 64 bit Windows

It is not a simple upgrade like going from Vista to 7 (both 32 bit)

Unless you have more than 3 GB of RAM (or want to add extra RAM) or are going from Home to Pro or Ultimate is the upgrade worth it.

Legacy drivers for old equipment such as printers / scanners/ multifunction devices are harder to find for 64bit Windows 7 but Vista 32 bit drivers often work with 32bit Windows 7
