bios problem & date time

I am using Lenovo 5313 1BQ desktop model.I am face problem with bios settings weather i am turning my pc on the date and time appers to 01/01/2008 and my computer show the floppy drive,although it is not floppy enabled
please suggest me..

This forum is for public replies, we can message you to your TH account should we wish to give a private message but trolling for email addresses is an invasion of privacy unless a user specifically wants to send you an email and would therefore give it to you via private messaging.

As to your bios date, the cmos battery is flat and needs replacing. Each time you turn off the mains power, the Date/Time reverts to the factory default and the primary boot device reverts to factory default, as do all your bios settings.

You can change the defaults but don't turn off the mains power to the PC, to continue and maintain those setting changes so that it allows you time to acquire a bios battery.
