Hello everyone,

I was trying to install the 13.4 drivers on my pc from ATI. The problem is that when I install them, after a restart the system stops recognizing the GPU and in device manager, under the display adapters the GPU is stated as "Microsoft primary display adapter".

The problem is gone only if I completely switch off my pc, even from the PSU, and then start it again, until the first restart.

I've managed to somehow correct it by uninstalling everything, when the GPU is recognised, and then install the Package from AMD except drivers.

Then I extract the package to a folder and go to the device manager and customly update the drivers from there.

With this method the pc doesn't have issues when I restart it, but is it ok to be like this? Because in installation of 13.4 it says that the driver is not installed, even if the device manager says the opposite.

I hit P10422 in 3dMark 11.

The system is:
Maximus V formula
i7-3770k
8GB Corsair Vengeance @1866Mhz
Gigabyte's 7970Ghz edition
150GB WD @10000rpm sata 1.5Gb/s

2 optical drives
