Well here's the thing. Any change I make whether it be folder settings or the taskbar icons near the clock...No matter how many times I change it, and then logoff, log back on...The system reverts back to default settings. I found some tutorial I found online to check the registry for an entry named NoSaved but I couldn't find anything.

Any Help Is Appreciated.

Do you get small "up" arrow beside your notifications?
if not then right click on task bar select "Customize notification icons" there you can find all options about those icons.
Make sure to uncheck "Always show all icons and notifications on the taskbar."

Your missing the point. I can set the notification icons a certain way however any reboot reverts everything back. Not sure if my install is bad and i need to reimage? I have searched for malware and viruses and it found some malware and removed it but am not sure what could be causing this?
