More about good build
  1. You could probably lower the PSU to a 500W one and save some cash.

That cash could then be used on some case fans or whatnot.

Looks like a pretty solid build to me.
  2. Hey,

The CPU that you chose cannot be overclocked as it is not a "K" unlocked version, which makes the Z77 motherboard unnecessary. Get a H77 motherboard (those cannot overclock, but neither can your CPU) and save a few bucks. Or go with a i5 3570k, and the Z77 motherboard. Also if you are going with that CPU and the H77 motherboard, then you don't necessarily need a CPU cooler, and you could go with the stock one, but it doesn't hurt to have better cooling :)

    Hope this helps!

Overclocking isn't really a necessity though. Sure it's helpful but not all builds need to be overclocked, and if you're going to save some money on a build that's what I usually recommend cutting. I'd suggest a Seasonic PSU on the original build and getting a 1TB Caviar Blue (only $5 difference from the 500GB model) otherwise it looks good to me.

Notice they said that they live in the Caribbean and needs good cooling.
The stock cooler may very well be insufficient in very hot climates.

Sorry I didn't catch that, so yes, get the Cooler master hyper 212
  6. i think the mobo was the only thing i could lower i dont think il ever use 1tb of storage i like to delete stuff + with the 500gb one the 600psu is a combo and end up costing 49usd

  7. Keep in mind, you will almost always use more hd space then you think.
